For the continued safety and enjoyment of everyone who rides at Sunshine Motocross, the rules below must be followed at all times. Failure to follow these rules may result in temporary or permanent ejection from the premises.
No Pit Riding
Bikes may be ridden to and from the track only. Please maintain an idle speed.
Adult Accompaniment
Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to ride.
Spectators
Everyone must remain behind the fence or behind the starting gate.
Non-riders are not allowed on the track during any race except for the parents of minor 50cc riders. If any non-minor 50cc class riders are helped by any spectator, that rider will automatically be moved to last place. No exceptions.
Enter and Exit the Track at the Designated Location Only
This is for your own safety.
Riding Gear
Required riding gear includes helmet, goggles, boots and gloves.
Helmets must be worn at all times when riding on or to/from the track.
Though optional, we strongly recommend that all riders wear a chest protector.
Riding on the Back of a Bike or 4-Wheeler is Not Permitted
This is for your own safety.
Kill Switches
All 4-wheelers must be equipped with a working kill switch.
Bike Identification
Numbers must be readable from both the front and sides.
Rider Infractions
Any rider infraction will result in a 1 lap penalty or possible disqualification.
Any rider that jumps an obstacle when a medic flag is out will be black flagged off the track.
Sportsmanship
Management reserves the right to terminate the membership of any riders who cause harm to others or display unsportsmanlike conduct towards other riders or track personnel.
Track Flags
- Green: start of race; all clear
- Yellow: proceed with caution; no jumping or passing
- Red: race restart; slow down and return to starting gate
- Black: disqualified; leave the track
- White: one lap remaining
- Checkered: race is over
